Thankful, Grateful & Truly Blessed

Happy Thanksgiving and Stay Safe!

How many of you have been THANKFUL this year? This year 2020 has been trying times for many of us. Times when we did not know if we would make it; because of the pandemic spread all over the world. People have lost their jobs, family and mental awareness, etc. There has been mental health challenges running rampant for many because of the morbidity and mortality of social distancing and stay-at-home orders.

There have been feelings of anxiety, isolation, depression and financial stresses that have been on the rise. In life with the righteousness of God, you are given a choice. God is saying to you today, to be still and think on these things. He is having you to reorganize and strategize yourself. In 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 it talks about troubles being temporary. “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of of glory; while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are not seen are eternal.

Our peripheral vision can sometimes detach us from reality. It causes indirect vision to occur to the point of fixation. This fixation is from the main focus of God. In Colossians 3:15 it says And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Thankful for life! Thankful for health! Thankful for family! Thankful for self! What a joy it is to be Grateful and Truly Blessed.

Prayers

Heavenly Father,

We come to you this day acknowledging you in all of our ways. Whether it be unforgiveness, bitterness, pride, resentment, humility or unbelief. We ask that you find it in out heart to be thankful and grateful during the rest of this 2020 season. Give us a sense of peace. Walk before me this day in all that I do and say. Live your life in me that I will be a great steward to you. Guide my every thought and word. Let me not feel anxious, overwhelmed or depressed during this time of isolation. I come to you in full submission to your will in my life. I ask that the Holy Spirit covers me., direct and guide my path in the way it should go. So, today I confess and lay down at your feet all my faults, sins of the flesh, heart and renounce the known and unknown to you. I speak all these things by trusting faith in the name of Jesus. I decree and declare that all these things come to past.

It is in Jesus name that I pray. Amen.
